please recommend a fiber optic sight for a super x2
tru glo pro series magnum gobble dot. I have had them on 3 guns and they are durable. Tried hi viz and it didn't make through opening day, it broke off.
Use nothing buy HIVIZ on all of my shotguns, and I've never had one break off. I use the CompSight on everything, and have found it to be extremely reliable since it takes the place of the bead. A little Loctite and the right gunsmithing screw provided by HIVIZ will keep it in place. By the way, the HIVIZ stuff isn't fiber optic, it's a light pipe. Over time fiber optics loose their luster, and the color will fade. Light pipes are kept bright by any light source forever.
X2 on the TruGlo Magnum Gobble Dots. Tough, durable, and bright. Another popular fiber optic sight is the Williams Firesights, don't have any experience with them but the reviews are good. Can't go wrong with either of these sights.
I like the old aluminum HS strutt ring of fire sight.
You can find them on ebay for about 8 bucks.
