Been think'n about use'n lead shot for a while now but most of my chokes were bought for the Hevi shot ammo, I have a Tru glo strut stopper in (think'n) 643 & a Indian creek 665.
If I change back to lead should these chokes be exceptable or should I be look'n for something else ??
I have a SumToy choke made by William Lambert, and it shoots HTL and lead equally well.

If the Strut Stopper is the EXTREME it is 643. The 665 will still be an excellent choke for lead.Bear in mind that our extra fulls are 690 on many 12s.
The Strut Stopper is most likely also a 665 but may give completely different patterns and may be a superlative #5 shot choke.
I agree with previous posts about the Sumtoy choke being a combo choke for whatever shot you choose. It gets flat out mean at 30 yards using HTL . My favorite load in lead in that choke is #6s.
You already have 2 good chokes to try. Indian Creek makes a choke that normally does well with all types of shot. William at SumToy also seems to be a great guy, and would work with you to get what you want in a pattern. In general, go really tight for Lead, especially with #6's, but the Indian Creek may very well outshoot the TG SSX. It did for me.
