I recently worked out a deal with a fellow on another site to swap some .222 ammo for some turkey loads for my 20 ga. How much trouble could that be. Well I forgot that the USPS doesn't ship ammo.So off to UPS I go. "Well sir we can't ship this without the proper package markings." OK,so put them on." We don't do that, you do" OK !!!! What are the proper markings ? " I can't tell you. You are suppose to know that as a shipper of live ammo." I must have looked like I was ready to go ballistic or something cause he dug through a drawer and handed me a sheet of paper showing the requirements.Telling me he wasn't suppose to do this. I had to write on 2 sides the words , Ammunition Small Arms and ORM-D. After the other customers left he told me sorry and that he too is a hunter and realizes what a pain it is.On the instruction sheet was a sticker that read. No Shipping Of Gun Parts To Individuals. When I asked he said that probably wasn't true. HUH! Then he told me that he heard Pennsylvania was going to ban all semi autos for hunting. Time for some aspirins and a long nap.

Unreal...I imagine that they are covering their backsides with all of that junk we have to go through just to mail ammo.
So Penn is looking at banning semi-autos for hunting. A Remington 1187 in their minds is an assault weapon ::)
That's the way it should be.
