Title: Going to be in Kansas Nov 9th through 14th is fall season open?
Post by: NappinUnderTrees on November 02, 2012, 11:29:11 PM
I'm up in Kansas for some Pheasant hunting and was wondering if its possible for a non-resident to hunt the fall season on a Sunday for  some Turkey?  Being that I have never hunted in Kansas, I have no clue as to the where to go and if I will be there during the right time. I did do some reading but not living there sounds like it would be hard to get a tag. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Just point me to some Public land!

Hell even if I get a morning with a good Nap and some Gobblers in a new state it would be a win in my book!

Oh almost forgot, I'm going to be in the Concordia area.

Most states in the Midwest allow Sunday hunting, and KS is very easy to get out of state Fall turkey tags. We go down just North of there every year right after Christmas. You can find plenty of info on their website.

I appreciate the info C_W. I will poke around on the KS site tonight and see if I can work out a plan.
