Trying to get a surplus made up, losing propisition so far

Nice looking calls. I hear you on the loosing proposition of building up a surplus. I try to get an extra call or two done as I am doing a run of orders but the extras go as fast as the orders do.

Thanks Eric, they are single reeds, but can be converted to double reeds easily

The myrtle and hedges look great! What is that myrtle wood like? I would assume it's a softer wood.

Actually, that Oregon myrtle is harder than a hammer, very dense like ebony

Buckeye Burl barrel, Elk antler band, and striped ebony insert. My first ever completely custom call.

I'm new to duck hunting and purchased a Tim Grounds Sweet Meat wood. Only a $50 call.
How do these sound in comparison?

I honestly couldnt answer that, I have never blown a Grounds duck call. My calls are comparable to the late Alvin Taylor or David Gaston's calls.
