Found these chicken mushrooms while checking trail cams the other day. Cooked some with rice and bouillon and it was very good. The mushroom guide has them rated "choice" which is the highest rating. Taste just like cooked chicken breast with the same texture. Wife just couldn't warm up to it.

WOW that is a good find. I bet there is 20 pounds on that tree.
Chicken mushrooms are one of my favorites. We slice the extras about 3/8 thick and dry them in the dehydrator and vaccum pack them. They reconstitute really well.
I picked and sold close to 60 pounds of it last year.
