Well today was opening day for bow in NC, saw 5 deer this morning,too far and mama with a baby (I wont shoot them) No deer this evening,but the sunset over the mountains was worth the trip. Just something to make me smile. BYW our squirrel season doesnt start till mid OCT. Just to reply to the other posts I have read,cant wait for some squirrel gravy!!

I wished our bow season opened today in Western NC but its monday before it opens here and I have to work til thursday so it will be friday before I will get to go..

It was nice and cool for this mornings' opener in western NC...still don't know why I chose to go to work..... ???
