Title: Rest In Peace, Flight 255,25 Years Ago.
Post by: redarrow on August 16, 2012, 09:20:23 AM
Today is the 25th anniversary of this horrific tragedy. I was mowing my lawn when it happened .I live about 2 miles west of the crash site. I stood in my backyard and watched the smoke. 1 survivor,a little 4 year old girl. Praise God.The entire story is available on line. This site  http://www.flight255memorial.com/  is a memorial to those who died that day. May they rest in peace. As the families gather this day at the memorial site may they find comfort in the Lord.

I never even knew this happened. I just read the story on their web site. Tragic. It's amazing that there was a survivor.

What a sad event and it sounds like it could & should have been prevented. I feel terrible for their families and hope that my prayers for them will find them well. 25 years later and I am sure they remember it just like it happened yesterday. Again my condolences to their families.

That's really sad that happened. Stuff like that I try to keep out of my mind while I'm flying back and forth to work. I wonder what ever happened with that little girl. The good Lord evidently had a special plan for her. Just curious.
