Here is a tube call demo I did a while back. It is currently the off season and a good time to try to learn new calls to add to your bag of tricks.

Excellent demo Joe...is there any call you can't run and very well :D
Good stuff, Joe! I believe that demo sold me the osage tube....lol
Great video Joe...Thanks for posting! :you_rock:
Good video thanks for posting watched a hundred times to practice with my new tube calls been a lot of help for me
Thanks Joe, been playing with mine some lately and really wanted to get a little better. Top notch explanations
Wow, neat Joe! Sounds better (to me) when you "cup" the call. Had never seen this before; thx for sharing!
Can you share the link for the model you used to build your call yourself?
:newmascot: :turkey2:
I don't think I have a video of how to make your own tube call.
Joe
That is a very good video. Great explanation.
REAL NICE JOE , AT THE BEGINNING U SOUNDED LIKE A ELK ..... :icon_thumright:
Joe that's an awesome demo. Thanks for sharing. Do you make your own hardwood tubes? Is there a critical dimension such as length or thickness? I've been thinking of trying to make one from a large dowel and drilling out the center. I guess I could drill the center from a block, and then turn the OD on my lathe. But I would love to know how long and what wall thickness is best.
Thoughts?
I start with a 3" long piece thats 2X2. I also square the ends and the shave a piece off for my lipstop. My mouthpiece hoe is 1". The bell end is 1 1/8" but I turkey it larger on the lathe. Hope this helps.

Fantastic video Joe!! Explains the mechanics of using a tube better than anything I have seen. Thanks for sharing.
