This is a call I am making for my daughter's Chamber Silent Auction. The box is made from Sitka Spruce the paddle is made from Wild Cherry........

This is the call in the finishing touches, after I applied a drawing of the Actual School Building that was torn down in New Madrid, Mo., it took me 8 hours of single line drawing on the computer to come up with the image using a photograph of the school. I won't disclose my "secret" to application on the box itself, but it is a lot better looking in hand, so clear and exact to detail.

Here is the right side of the call, explaining about theschool and where the wood for the call came from. I was amazed to find Sitka Spruce amongst the ruins, they had to have had it special ordered, the wood was used to make frames around the eight foot long chalk boards....
