I call Remington every few days just to check and was surprised to find out the 870 20 ga shurshot were in stock. Shipping time is 15-18 days unless you pay additional $14 for 2 day UPS. part number F306720. ph (800) 243-9700. Just a heads up as I know a few others were looking for one
YES I have one on the way.
Do they make them for the 1187?
Is it a 20ga-specific stock or the 12ga one that can also fit the 20?

20 ga only
Perfect, that's just what I was wanting to hear, I'll probably pick one up in the next few weeks. Is it as large as the 12ga version, or mini-ish since it's going on a 20?
About how much are they running and can you get them in the Mossy Oak obsession or just the black? Thanks for the heads up! :jackson:
Black only and about 87.00 ,may vary slightly depending on shipping
10-4. Thanks a bunch!
good info. thanks
they charge sales tax no matter what state you live in cuz remington has retail licenses in every state. @ day UPS shipping adds $14. Total close to $100
When you guys get your orders in, post up some pictures, they should motivate me to pick up the Shurshot as well
Got one on my 870 and love it
I have had the Sureshot stock & forearm on order for over a month now. I called Remington today & the forearm is in stock but the stock wont be available until Sept. - Oct.

What is the difference in the shurshot forearm and the standard forearm?
I already had a black syn. forearm so I just went with the stock. The surefire has more cut back on the rear part of the forearm but I couldnt see buying one just for that. If your stock doesnt fit snug against the reciever, look for a spacer that you need to remove for the correct fit. William at Sumtoy told me about it when he had my gun in for work and removed it. I still dont know why they dont offer this in camo????????? You can buy the Mossyoak stock and forearm in a combo pakage,Remington lable, says it fits all 870s for 79$. But it doesnt fit 20 gauges.
it can be made to

I remember you had managed to make 1 fit but I dont remember what you had to do to it. I would appreciate an update, I prefer the look of camo stocks and not on the metal work so I may sell mine and try your modification.
Any Updates on this??? Did anyone get thier stock?
I sold my black sureshot stock from Remington after I purchased a set of Remington brand camo ones from a local sporting goods that are marked for all 870's,they were also on E-bay for about $69 for the set. Well they aren't for 20 gauges but with a little grinding with a dremell tool where the butt stock fits into the receiver I'm very happy and now have with the look I wanted in the first place. There is about a 1/16th edge that sticks out past the receiver all around but its fine to me.
