This is an Alaskan Yellow Cedar call with a redheart lid and base. This cedar was extremely hard to checker. It is OK checkering but not great. It has a very good sound though. I think this will be the first call I list on the classifieds. Let me know what you think.

Nice one :icon_thumright:
AYC can be a real pain to work with, both in checkering and in tuning. If you are happy with the sound that is most important...checkering will come in time. Workmanship looks very good.
Thank you sir. I have a sound file with it in the classifieds. Your work and craftsmanship is stunningly beautiful and I appreciate the kind words.
I like the looks of that call. Real pretty but one that I can see totting in my vest in the Spring!
Nice touch on that call.
I bought this call from Styger and can tell you that it sounds great. I have several box calls and I would put this call up against any of them. I think Styger is going to be a great up and coming box call maker so I would get one of his ASAP. I've already ordered another one. Keep up the good work Styger.
