I'm from Western Pa. Have been Turkey hunting since the 60's, hard times bird hunting back then, wasn't a lot of birds to hunt. Tried to kill a bird with a long bow from 1985 till 2009. Shot at a bunch, hit a couple and didn't get any but called in a bunch of birds and never filled a tag. lol In 2010 got antsy and shot a nice longbeard with my sons Mossberg and missed a nice one last year and shot a Jake this year. Think I'm going back to the bow next year and this fall, had to kill a few birds to get it out of my system. Missed a nice hen last fall with my Osage self bow, shot low, missed a Jake the fall before that with the same bow and shot high.lol
Favorite thing to do is take young hunters out and get them their first Gobbler, have been able to call in some nice Gobblers for them. More fun to watch them shoot one than getting one myself. Thanks, Will Shaver.
