From opening day to last day tell me how your strategy changes as the season progresses? Im interested in whats done different in the last few weeks of the season. Thanks.
This has been my best season yet. I took three fine longbeards.
From start to finish my strategy didn't change much. My strategy in Kansas did change. Those Rio's are a heck of a lot different than these Eastern mountain birds.
Definitely a lot more loud, aggressive calling in the early season (mid-late march) here in SC when you're dealing with henned up birds. I like either trying to get a lone gobbler that isn't talking fired up or getting a hen or two (with a gobbler with them) fired up. Later on in the season, it's more subtle and playing the silent game on 'em.
