Someone suggested to me at the start of the season that I should carry a camera and do one of those my season in pictures thread at the end of the season. I thought sure, that would be pretty cool. So I carried the camera downstairs with intentions of carrying it every time I went hunting, well most of you know me and know that wasn't going to happen, so it spent most of the season downstairs right where I left it.
So here's my first attempt at my season in pictures. :-\ And since I don't know how to use a diaphragm call very well I relied on my MKW Trumpet and a pot call most of the time.

My Buddy in Kentucky found it and my hat :happy0064:. He said while I was cleaning that nasty legged turkey I must have put them on a shelf in his garage by his reloading equipment.
:TooFunny: I figured he would give it back after season

Yep, it was a struggle. You know how it can be in Bama, the Southeast, and on public land at times. You run into a lot of call shy and educated birds. I think I'll be better prepared for that next year because I plan on asking a lot of questions between now and then.
I wish my season would have went that bad. Congrats on another great season Ronnie. I wish I could run with you a few days in the spring but I would probably just slow you down. That would be a hoot.

Joe,
They have jets that go from CA to GA and visa-versa every day. Get on one and come on. I've watched your video clips, so you'll have to do the calling. To slow me down we'd have to almost stop. I hunt very slow. Slow but steady.

Beards and spurs are in the states where they were killed except the Kentucky birds. I have a beard board in Florida, Georgia and Bama and put them on their home state board. The skulls are still in the skin in the freezer fixing to go to a taxidermist buddy who uses them.
wow!!!!!! way to go
thats a mess of feathers
congrats to all the birds you shot
Very nice Ronnie! Are you a recurve shooter by chance or do you save those primary feathers for someone else?
Nice---WTG!!

Uhhem, I can't help but ask, why didn't you post any snood lengths? :D
None were very well endowed, might explain why they hung out with other males instead of the females.
