Title: 10 month funk
Post by: Shellwaster on May 14, 2012, 09:29:34 AM
Well our season in Georgia is over and now begins the 10 month funk. For all those still hunting please continue to post as I will live vicariously through y'all.  It hasn't been the season I hoped but has been good. Now I will begin calling and knocking on doors for more land to hunt come next March.

That is why I bowfish so much. It's almost over here. I will stay busy this Summer. I am building a hunting and fishing cabin. Going to start June 16.

Agreed, the only reason I deer hunt anymore is cuz turkeys aren't gobbling in the fall and I need to pass the time until spring lol. At least the crappie are still biting so I have something to do for awhile

As soon as turkey season is over, I'll be getting the bow tuned up and start shooting.  Getting ready for elk which comes at the end of August.  A bugle is a pretty close second to a gobble to get me fired up  ;D
