I see several call makers advertising Bronzed Glass calls.  Some of them have a bronze look to them and some look like regular clear plexiglass.  Please explain to me, the difference between Bronzed Glass and Clear Plexiglass calls.  Is it just a color added to the clear plexiglass?  Is there a difference in the sound quality between the two?  Pros and Cons of Both?

There was a recent discussion of this topic in the last couple of weeks.  You can probably find it quicker with a forum search than awaiting responses.

I don't know of any callmakers using plexiglass for a surface material.  Could it be clear glass you are talking about?  The sound properties would be very different.

I believe plexiglass is actually a plastic composite of some kind. I am not aware of anyone who uses that for a calling surface. Bronzed glass is basically a tinted glass, a little mellower in sound than clear glass or crystal.
