Since the Cicada are laying all over my yard I thought I would see if they would be good fish bait. I think I'm on to something. 42 BIG Bluegill & 1 Crappie in 2 hours. I threw back about 15. They sure were fun to catch on ultralite tackle.

Ricky hats a nice mess of fish. What time do we eat?
To me that is the best eating fish in the river. The wife and I had a mess last night for supper, with home made hushpuppies and baked beans. I know you had fun cathing them also. Way to go.

Nice mess of fish!
Very nice catch,congrats!
Hey Ricky--that is way cool--I'd have been all up in the middle of that--my favorite kind of fishing!!!
Several years ago the 17 year cicadas returned to central Pa. We knew they were coming and prepared. We tied cicada patterns and got out our heavier flyrods so we could cast those HUGE flies. Had a blast on a famous Pa. limestone stream catching those usually very selective wild brown trout!
Nice... Very tasty
GOOD EATS.........RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!
