Is the glass sold for call making just regular glass?
I know more about glass than most, but I don't know squat about making calls. While looking for a new pot call, I noticed the mention of bronzed glass. While digging around for more info, I read that "bronzed" meant tempered. Well, that doesn't make sense to a glass guy.
Is the bronzed glass tinted? When it breaks does it shatter into small pieces or just crack?

Do a search on here for a member named "stumpy". Chad is a supplier for glass, slate and ceramic for quite a few callmakers on here. He is also into glass for a living. Send him a PM or call him and he'll answer all your questions. Good fella to talk to.
Stumpy is the go to guy. I can answer that the bronze glass is tinted not tempered. I have broken a piece or two and it breaks like regular window glass rather than shattering like tempered glass.
