Just wanted to confirm what I've heard; Hevi-Shot chokes ARE made by Carlson's & cheaper & lifetime warranty. Just got off the phone with them and ordered a set of three for about what I would have paid for only two of the Hevis.
I take it you bought the F, M, IC set of 3 Carlson extended chokes approved for Steel shot for $100?
I have the Full for my 870 and it shoots very tight with #2 - #4 steel shot.
We're probably talking about the same chokes. They're calling them 'close', 'mid', and 'long' range. $99.
I shoot the HeviShot chokes for waterfowl and turkey. They work very well, patterning very tight compared to the Chokes that came with my SX3
