Does any one know why dymondwood 5/16 dowels are so hard to find? Is it because this wood laminate is so hard to turn that small?
There may not be a large enough market for dymondwood dowels that make it worth it for someone to produce them. I turn solid dymondwood strikers and don't use 2 piece strikers. I use River Ridge Products for all of my dymondwood stock.
Try Russ at 570 412-7356 he has desert camo right now.
