Title: Mossberg 835 PG .670 and Winchester XRHD 3.5-2-6's
Post by: chatterbox on April 11, 2012, 04:47:00 PM
Here are my pattern pics from a few days ago. Weather wasn't ideal, but it was around 48 degrees, and sunny. I had to shoot between wind gusts.
I sighted in at 10 with dove loads, then just ran a dry brush down the bore. I dry swabbed it, until it was realitively clean, then went back to 40. I didn't have to adjust a thing. Scope was dead on at 40.
My numbers were not great, but I would only expect them to get better in a little warmer weather. Certainly a killing pattern. 123 in the 10 with decent coverage out in the 20.

Definitely a huntable pattern, bet those #s go up in warmer weather.

Yep you can add about 40 shot or so in 70 degree weather.

Thanks guys! Gonna try these shells and some Hevi-13 3.5-2.25-6 through my SumToy .675 either tommorow or Saturday.
I'll be sure to post up some pics then.
