Title: Picked up some lead gold!!
Post by: rtsj on April 02, 2012, 07:45:58 PM
Picked up some miscellaneous ammo over the weekend. Haven't seen these Active shells since I was a kid. Dont know how much i'll shoot but a good add to the collection. Into the gun safe it goes.

Thanks Roy

Those 2 1/4oz 6's Winchesters and a Pure Gold .670 out of the 835 are bad medicine for the turkey birds.

That box of Remington shells are my all time favorite 12 gauge loads. Awesome patterns and the recoil is very reasonable when compared to others.

Those remmy hevi shot loads in the 20 gauge were awesome in my 870 20 gauge.still have a box and a half left.Still use the lead 99% of the time but still have those to fall back on if a special need may arise.
