Title: New sights
Post by: Limb Hanger on March 19, 2012, 09:39:31 PM
I just purchased a Rem 870 express and it came with a true glow front and rear sight. They were not installed so I put them on. The rear sight can be adjusted for the wind. My question is, Do I need to sight it in before I go hunting? Be easy on me if this is a stupid question. Thanks :help:

I would definitely take your gun out and shoot it and get it sighted in!

Absolutely. Sight it in just as you would a rifle. Start up close to dial it in and then move further out to make sure your pattern is centered and make any final adjustments if needed.
