Title: TSS Under 40yrd Patterning question
Post by: yelpy on March 19, 2012, 12:37:13 PM
With all the nice 40yrd patterns with this TSS have any of you shot at 20 and 30yrds to see what the patterns look like once good at 40? I am curious to know how tight this shot is at closer ranges with the chokes being used to get the #'s at 40.

Yep, I shot this pattern at 10 yds to see just how big it would be.

Mossberg 835, 20" barrel, IC .710, TSS 2 oz #8

That will get a dead one on the table every time.  Great job patterning your gun.  Any closer they might put their eye in the barrel.

Here's my 20 yard TSS 20 gauge, 1 5/8 oz mix of 9s and 8s, no buffer.  The gun was not zeroed in. 10" ring.
