I just recently got a Rem 1187 20ga. Decided since I was going to " NO BIRD BAMA " next week that I would fire a round today. Decided to shoot Fed HW 6's in it just for that extra downrange punch. I know this ain't no big number pattern but this is going to be my back up turkey rig.
109 Hits @ 40 lazered yds. 26" barrel Fed HW 3" 1 1/2 oz #6 Rem Super Full Choke
Have a good turkey season everyone !

I like it
a good hunting pattern
Do any of you folks think that there is a better choke to shoot with this gun & ammo & get better results. I'm pretty set on the Fed HW #6's cause I know the damage they can do. Thanks for any advice .

That Remington super full is also what gave me my best patterns with the Fed Heavyweight 6's, check out my posts and you can see the damage!
LOOKING GOOD RICKY !!!
:icon_thumright: I talked to Remington a while back and they do not recommend HW in there chokes said could be catastrophic failure could occur
That will smoke em buddy!!!
Nothin wrong with that!! Good luck in Bama!! :z-guntootsmiley:

They now make lead only AND HTL approved chokes in their SF models.
