hey all, my Rem 870's factory bead is off center... fail. So i was wondering if any 870's have screw in beads... I think mine is pressed in..

+3 on the screw in, used vice grips to remove my bead, pliers wouldn't grip enough without stripping

If there is a slight recess in the rib around the base of the bead than it more than likely pressed in.
If the rib is smooth at the bead than it will be threaded.

My last two were pressed in.....just filed the sucker down and put some truglo gobble dots on the rib :icon_thumright:
