Title: Pot call sealer question.
Post by: Ocoee Ridge Runner on March 14, 2012, 07:58:29 PM
What is the best low lustre sealer that will not affect sound? Also, do you put something in the holes on the bottom and pull it out after it dries to keep the sealer from affecting the sound coming out the bottom?

I will put a sanding sealer on my calls before I pot a finish coat on them, especially if it's a porous wood. I coat everything, inside and out including the sound holes. Helps protect the call from moisture.
