My Pure Gold .670 put up better numbers than my Star Dot with lead shells. I'm gonna do further testing after season with HTL loads and see who comes out on top.

I haven't found anything that will beat it with Hevi 2.25oz 7's in my 835. I have a couple other chokes that have come close but not consistently.

I agree.  I have shot Pure Gold, Indian Creek, and various other chokes.  And I have yet to find a choke that would shoot the Hevi-13 3.5" 2.25oz #7 loads consistently as good as the Star Dot made by Colonial Arms, Inc.  I know other people say they will, but I haven't seen it from my findings.

But I have seen a Tru-Glo SSX.670 on a cool 45 degree day out perform my Star Dot.  But in 60 to 70 degree weather I doubt that it would.  But in all fairness I didn't keep the Tru-Glo long enough to compare it to the Star Dot in this temp ranges which is about avg temp during our spring season in MO.  I'll just say my best highest count patterns that have been repeatable have come with my Star Dot choke in decent temp.
