Title: Browning Silver NWTF EDITION W/ 24" BBL
Post by: BULLSEYE on February 22, 2011, 11:38:45 PM
Guys, I had to get rid of my beloved Browning Silver with the 26" BBL around Christmas time because we got in a tight spot financially. Well, things started to look up about 3 weeks ago and I purchased another brand new Browning Silver but this one is the NWTF version and the BBL is 2" shorter.

Now,  I was shooting a IC choke @.665 w/ H13 #7's and getting around 300 in 10" at 40 with my old gun. I actually kept all of the turkey chokes when I sold my original gun so I have the IC .665 and a PG .670. Which do you think will perform best with this shorter bbl?

Thanks

I don't think you will go wrong with either.  You have to make the choice of do I want a tight pattern or a really tight pattern.  Only shooting them will tell you which is which.   :anim_25:
