Hey guys I'm going to get a new vest and want your opinion...What's your favorite one to wear?
Super Elite III for me.
I like the limbhanger

Super Elite III for me.
X 2. Mine is in MO obsession, but they make it in Bottomland as well.
I think the Super Elite 3 is top of the line with quality but man it gets warm in the area's I hunt later in the spring and that thing doesnt breath much and tempts me to carry more junk than any 4 turkey hunters really need in the woods. I usually start out with a bulky vest full of all the new crap I bought (that call i had to have etc) in the offseason and end up with a really small vest with room for my mouth calls, a pot call and bottle of water...
I bought a cheap Mossy oak vest (dont even know the name of it) from wingsupply.com and it's about all i wear now cause I just dont use that much stuff and would rather be comfortable.
Ol Tom I-Beam here
I also use a super elite 3 love it
Limbhanger for me. It's the best vest I've hunted with.
I recently got a limbhanger and it seems really good. I like the pockets and the way it wears. I have not hunted with it yet, but I am excited to this year! My previous vest was a $5 clearance vest from Wally world, it was actually built fairly well, just not very many useful pockets.
Ol Tom! Light and not too hot
After last year my old Super Elite II was simply worn out and while I liked it alot I went with a Time n Motion from Old Tom instead of a Super Elite III.
Bass Pro High Back Lounger, is by far my favorite vest of all time. I have been using one since they were Buck Lick Creek about 6 years now and love them. Where I hunt sometimes there arent any trees around, with it you just pull the seat down and your good to go.
Super elite III great deal at wings supply
Currently using the super elite 3. It works good for my hunting style and has plenty of room.
I have a Elite III and I like it but it does get hot. I think I will try an Old Tom next year.
Just moved up from my Super Elite 2 to a 3. Best vest on the market. I wish it came in Nat Gear camo. I settled for M.O. Bottomland.
Another vote for super elite 3 . Lots of storage and works great for me .
Really in love with my new gorilla gobbler pack. Think it is the best on the market.

there used to be one on their website, dunno if it's still available or not though.
jblackburn, there's a nat gear vest on the midway usa website for 59.99. Also anyone looking for a super elite 3, macks prairie wings has them on sale for 65 bucks.
I have been using the HS Strut deluxe SUV vest and love it, however next season I'm going to get the ol'Tom time & motion I-beam vest only because I have all of the ol'tom gear now.
Ol'TOM
Ol tom I beam here.
I realized after an afternoon of scouting on Sunday that it was time to get a lighter/cooler vest so I went and bought and Ol Tom Time and Motion vest....
Tired of sweating it out with my other vest and I just dont carry enough crap to need the 50 pockets.
I wear a guide series vest from gander mountain. Its probably pushing ten years old, but i've just never found a need to switch yet.
I wear a Super Elite III ....It has plenty of room and the seat is thick enough to be comfortable. It does get a little warm in the late Spring but I just open it up.
I wear an Ol Tom Essentials vest and like it so far
Hi Folks - not to highjack the thread (Okiiegobblers, hopefully this may help you out too), but it seems more than a few of the folks here using the SuperElite III mention that it can get "hot" to wear in warmer temps.
Just wondering if the newer SuperElite III in TREKLITE would solve that problem?
Any treklite users care to comment?
I'm in the market for a vest and the SuperElite III TREKLITE sounds great; but if its hot to wear, I'll go with a stap vest (Cabelas Tactical Tater II)
Thanks for the feedback,
Greg
I have a H.S. Strut not sure of the name that's the brand. I keep it as empty as possible. This is only my second season turkey hunting but I want to be lite on my feet if i have to run and gun. I carry one box call snips, zip ties two pot calls, one box call and 3 mouth calls. A home made blind and a bottle of water. and a crow call. This keeps me lite and also is a very comfortable vest.
Bob dixon limited edition vest here! Best vest I've ever worn!
I love my Tactical Tatr'2 it has a lot of pockets, it is really comfortable to wear cause its not too bulky and has a really good seat I reccommend it 100%
I do like the elite 3s pocket layout but i have an old Cabelas vest with the stadium type seat that lets u sit without a tree that i use most.
I have been using a tactical tatr for the last 6 or so years. After the season last year I bought a tac tatr II on sale. I like all of the improvements they made and can't wait to use it. Last couple of years I have used the tatr for bowhunting whitetails and don't want to carry a pack.
Guess I'm a lil behind the times...I'm still using the original super elite vest I bought slightly used when I was 14 lol :gobble:. But why not it still does what I need it to and other then a few barb wire rips in the game bag, it's in pretty good shape. Although it does get hot as heck later in the season :angry9:
Tactical Tat'r II on sale now for 79.99!
