I put the Williams Firesight on my Benelli M1S90 Saturday and tried to pattern it by using an assortment of 2 3/4" and 3" shells including lead & Hevi 3-2-7.
The choke I used was a Pure Gold .670.
No matter what shell I tried or at what distance the POI was low. I adjusted the sight to it's maximum range and it is still impacting 6" to 8" low at a laser ranged 40 yards. I even took off the Williams sights and shot it using the factory bead and it was still impacting low. All shots were taken from a bench and sand bags.
I left off the tall Williams front sight and plan to try the factory front sight along with the Williams rear the next time the weather allows me to shoot.
This might make the POI too high but I won't know until I shoot it.
What are your thoughts on my problem?
I have one on my Browning Gold and I love it. Just a thought but maybe you could put something under the rear sight to raise it a little. I know with mine it had some room for adjustment.
Not sure how the rib is made on a Benelli compaired to a rem 870, but moving the whole rear sight forward or backwards on an 870 has some degree of elevation adjustment as the rib drops down near the receiver on my 870. If rib is level then maybe a diffrent height of front bead will be required. I think williams has several heights.

I called and talked to William's customer service today. I explained my problem to him and he is going to send me a taller rear sight blade.
I'll see if the new rear blade has much effect on the POI.

Ive always had that issue with my Black eagle and my stoeger when using any brand fiber optic. I think its due to the stepped up rib. I ended up puting optics on both.
My Remingtons and Berettas with the smooth rib never had any issues.
My receiver is not drilled and tapped for mounts and I didn't want to have that done unless absolutely necessary.
I haven't got the new rear blade yet but I hope it solves my problem.
I have them on my 870 and really like them.
