I've been looking everywhere for a specific winchester load for my son to shoot this year.
Anybody seen any 2 3/4" XX - 1 5/8 oz. - 5's ?
This load is scarce as hens teeth. I've scoured thru every web page I can find, but everyone is out of stock already.
Any ideas as to where to get 'em ??
I was in wing supply the other day and they had Winchester xtended 2 3/4 -1 1/2- 5 for $15.00 for box of 10. I looked at a lot of shells and in the 2 3/4 in. I didn't see and thing over 1 1/2 oz.

These are the X12HXCT5 if you do need this. They are still listed on the Winchester list . Just keep looking. You can get 1 1/2 oz. fairly easily till then.
That is a super shell for 2 3/4".

I got out earlier today and started hitting every bait, tackle and hunting shop around our town.
The last place I walked into had 4 boxes of the #5's sitting way back on a shelf, covered in dust.
