Title: 1187 Sure Shot Turkey pattern.....

1187 SM SS Tky 23" bbl FF sight, 40yds, JH660, 2-1/8oz hevi 7 handload:

As you can see, POI was a hair right of the loads I used in it last year.  Pretty good pattern, so I may rezero for this.

Yeah Jody, it started getting warm out, so I had to get out of rifle mode for a bit. I haven't started scratching or gobbling yet, but it wont be long :D

BTW I bedded the LSS this week and hope to shoot it soon. The 100TTSX load at 3670fps avg MV oughta sting the deer a wee bit :D

I like it.  I'm a big fan of the 1187, but I wanted to get a lighter weight auto.  My previous 1187s have weighed in around 8lbs. This one only weighed 7lbs 8oz on my scale, I can live with that.  It tames recoil better than any of my other turkey rigs and patterns fairly well.  I mounted a Fast Fire on it a couple years back and it's become one of my favorites. 

For factory ammo, the H13 3-2-6s gave me good patterns in the 190-210 range through a IC BDS.  Never tried the h13 7s in it.  I did try the h13 3.5-2.25-6s in it through a JH665 and the ICBDS, but only got patterns in the 170 range.  If you don't like the trigger pull, drop a Patriot sear spring in for a pull around 2.5-3.5lbs.
