I have a benelli M1 12ga with a truglo SSX on it. Thinking about running some hevi-13 #7's through it. Would this be a good combo?
anyone think this combo will work? Just ordered some 3" H13 #7's to run through it once the weather warms.
A guy on here last season posted some pics of his patterns using hevi's thru a SSX and a mossberg 535 and the patterns were great. Not sure if he was using 7's or not. Wouldn't hurt to try them.
I'd guess that the odds are pretty good. ;)
I've shot the 3 inch Hevi-13 #7's thru my Benelli M1/SSX .643 choke combo and consistently get 200-250 pellets in the 40 yard 10 inch circle.

Yes. I think you'll see some excellent patterns with that combo. I would recommend that you "deep clean" everything prior to your patterning session however.

Thanks for the info. I look forward to touching a few off once it warms up a little. The barrel is deep cleaned.
What length barrel do u have??
