Title: Sneaky but it worked
Post by: reflexl on February 09, 2012, 07:54:30 PM
I was hunting a bird that was call shy and he liked to fly down in the middle of a field that was 80 acres. I could call him and watch him come but he would always get about 50 yards to my right and freeze up. Sometimes he would drum then take off like he was shot. I usualy set my decoy or decoys so that birds from the other end of the field would see them as well. One morning I got much closer to where I though he was roosted and set the b-mobile past where I was going to set up then called till I had his attention and shut it off. He came down the field about the same distance only to discover that I was setting there! Boom! Turkey dinner! This pic shows the set up.reflexl
