Setting up my new NWTF BPS with the factory one-piece base #12360.
Can't get the post to seat in the base. Has worked fine on other Weaver/Picatinny bases. Maybe just a matter of a bit of fine sanding on the base? Maybe the coating is too thick?
Any suggestions?
I like how the factory base attaches, with part of it covering the vent rib, so I don't want to use a different base just yet.
