Title: Hard Body Hen Decoys
Post by: rempumpman on January 15, 2012, 04:02:04 PM
A few years ago, Flambeau made a hard-body hen decoy that the head would move up and down by pulling on a string; forgot the model number, but anyone here remember those decoys? if so, would anyone here know where I could find one? I am wanting to buy one if found; haven't seen a good hard body hen decoy since; any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Dave Smith Decoys have a great hard shell hen decoy. I have not seen the one you are talking about in some time.

Dave Smith makes a great bird!

Good Luck

They are the best; except for the price but you get what you pay for. I have been buying one a year know I have the flock. At least if there are no toms in the area it is fun watching every hen that comes buy try showing who is boss to a decoy. Fun worth every Penny.

I have 2 models of the old Flambeau. They are now collectibles, collecting dust. I own DSD's and I tell you, NO COMPARISON. DSD's texture painting, depth accuracy/size, and by far, the most life-like of any decoy ever made, may cost a little more than the old Flambeau but you will do yourself right.

i had one of those decoys, used it to kill my first gobbler.i think i is stuck in the ground in my dads flower bed for years.as the others said
dsd are far better,i was really impressed with the results we had with our upright hen and jake.
