Title: TruGlo 2x42
Post by: C J Stahly on January 09, 2012, 05:53:28 AM
Anyone used/using one of these?  Thinking about getting one and just wanted to know what the experts thought.  Advantage/Disadvantage over a regular dot or reflex type sight

I know it is a little late, but - I mounted of these on my son's .223 when he first started shooting but never had one on a turkey gun.  It seemed like a decent sight and I never had any trouble with it.

Opinions will vary on this one, but I had two that my 535 ate for lunch.
If you are gonna go tube style, go with a Bushnell Trophy red dot, and if you would like a reflex style, I would go with the Mueller.
Both of those can be had for around 100.00, and can handle magnum turkey rounds, and handle them well.
