Title: Gobbled in Va this morning

Went listening this morning.  Sat for about 45 minutes after daylight and didnt hear anything so started walking.  About 8 oclock heard 2 gobbles on the ridge across from me so eased that way.  Watched 7 long beards with 34 hens.  Only 1 strutted.  That will make the next few weeks go by even slower now  ;D

they gobbled in fauquier county on thursday morning according to some of my pretty reliable sources. :you_rock:

Haven't been out to listen but keep hearing about them gobbling it won't be long. I usually start going out the first weekend in march

Tommorrow im hitting my farm see if there gobbling and a few other properties. getting warmer so you never know.

The first week in march is usually when they start gobbling consistently on the roost here  :icon_thumright:
