Me and my wife are lookin for a good gun for her this season. Were not sure which one to get mossberge, benelli, browning etc. Kinda hard to choose when you cant "try it before you buy it" lol. Any info would be great. ( kind, range, gauge, size and why) thx
Benelli M2 20ga.
I dont know where you are but if your close you can try mine.
im in cross city fla, my wife is small and short but she can handel a hard hitting gun but not a long one and im just not sure where to start. i love my benelli but i dont think she wants to spend that much on a gun. women! go figure lol
They are light and don't kick but they are costly ,how bout a 870 youth ?
i thought about those, i also was thinking about the 835 grand slam its a short youth gun but i was unsure about the distance it would shoot with only a 20 in barrel. what do you think?
My friend has a Rem 870 20 gauge, and seems to like it... thats all I know

I would be more concerned with recoil than what distance it shoots with a 20" bbl.
Might look at a Tri-Star viper G2 semi-auto in 20 ga. Semi will help with recoil and also light in price.
that 20 in barrell coupled with good choke and load will kill them past my ethical range[50yrds] :anim_25: :z-guntootsmiley:
Remington 870 Max Gobbler
Remington or Mossberg 20ga youth model pump
I am a hard person to please. I had bought my daughter who's 5'6ish a Benelli Nova youth, I am a very pleased with it. Patterns in the 140's with heavy 13, 7's @ 40. You can get one in the $250-$350 range depending on the finish. The pump is good and tight, as tight as my 870 wingmaster and almost as tight as my Supernova, no complaints. Might wanna add that one to your list to think about.
The top gun in this picture in a Remington 1187 youth 20gauge 21" barrel, that I initially got for my wife and we both love it.
They can throw a heck of a pattern too.
