Title: Roosted Fall Birds
Post by: Crappiepro on December 08, 2011, 02:48:19 PM
I was deer hunting this morning and found 19 turkey roosted across the field. They flew down in the field and just hung out. My question is "Should I set up a blind in the field and use decoys or just wait them out without the dec's?" How close is to close to set the blind? I just wanna make sure I'm thinking right on this. I think I should go in the evening before and set the blind come back the next morning and let them fly down to the decoys but this fall and I'll be trying with a bow. What do you guys think?

With a bow, I would suggest the blind and dekes set at 5 - 10 yards.
