Title: Beretta Pintail Owners?
Post by: Stevo on February 15, 2011, 05:39:21 PM
Just purchased one of these.  Sweet little gun.  Light weight, 24 in barrel, fully camo'd.  Any recommedations on choke/ammo combo's is appreciated.

I had one years ago that liked a Mad Max choke and Win. 3" HV #6's. If I had one today I would settle on an Indian Creek or Pure Gold and Hevi-13 2 oz. 7's. I hope you enjoy your gun.

I had one several years ago as well. Matter of fact I killed my first turkey with it. I like a dumb butt I sold it. I wish I had it back.
I bought a Stoeger 2000 which is about as close to a Pintail as I could find, but it ain't the same.....

A buddy has one.  Shooting an indian creek and my handloads it does really well.  I bet 2oz of hevi #7 would throw a mean pattern to.  It does kick a bit more than my gas operated beretta since its inertia.
