Title: Turkey Skull
Post by: TRKYHTR on August 30, 2011, 07:04:33 PM
Here is what a turkey skull looks like when I shoot them. This was the turkey I named Edward Scissorhand because he had 1 5/8" hooks and the hunt is on my youtube videos if you want to see me shoot this bird. There are 3 different bones that I had to glue together after I cleaned it. The actual skull, without the maxilla and the mandible, looked like the Predator. Crazy looking. Thought you guys might like to see it.

I love everything about this video. Awesome turkey! Breathtaking scenery, strutting hen, beautiful colors, fights, etc. Amazing. Plus I have never seen such huge hooks on a Rio before. This is the hunt of a lifetime.

You should be extremely proud!

I shoot the same gun and load. The skull is awesome! Can't survive that. That hunt was amazing, great video! :you_rock: :you_rock:

I got to see a hen strut up close this Spring in NE, but it was raining and I didn't get the camera out. She had a great beard and I sure thought I heard her drumming. Did anyone else hear that?? It might have been scissorhands..........lol
