Title: Salmon Season

My nephew is going to lineman school which happens to be near a river full of Salmon. He sent us this picture today. It's time to go visit him.

Years ago 4 of us caught approx. 600 lbs of salmon in 9 days.

SoCal- We use baitcasters, 10# test, a 9' steelhead rod, and alot of room.
VA- your right. The whole family is going camping this weekend. After that I'll be there. I tought that boy everything he knows about river fishing for salmon. He learned well.

Your lucky to go!  We used to have fun in the creeks around lake Erie. Nothing like the sound of the line snapping from a hard run.Enjoy yourself and take your calls and call some Turks up while your waiting for a run.
