Title: Buice threaded or push in?
Post by: MITurkey on March 20, 2026, 06:51:10 PM
Is there a preferred Buice trumpet when it comes to threaded or push in mouth piece? To those who have experienced both.  Thank you

I have both and I prefer the push in. I can swap mouthpieces quick if I want to change

Have had both and no issues with either, but I have stuck with the screw in.

Find and/or afford.

Yep.

I have both. I can't tell any difference in performance other than I worry less about the screw in falling out in the woods. I have a lanyard that has two loops specifically to be able to hold the mouth piece also, but it's always in the back of my mind.
