MANY years ago I bought a piece of box call chalk while at a show. It was brown and shaped like a little dome. It wasn't actually chalky to the feel but more like pasty? It was the best chalk I've ever used. Well, today I went looking for what was left and it is not to be found anywhere so, does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about or where I can get another piece?
thanks in advance

You might want to PM Shannon. He sends chalk that sounds like what you had with his push-pins. Excellent chalk for sure. Good luck
That brown chalk in a sphere shape was package under perfection brand and is really hard to find ....
you gotta be spot on Greg because I got a Perfection box call at that show too. It's caused the demise of MANY gobblers. I hate to hear it's that hard to find but I'm sure gonna be looking.
Theres a piece on eBay now and it has a few hours to go and it around 16 bid now on it, and it has a perfection patch with it .. so look on EBAY
I did Greg and I'm watching it. In the meantime my son called and ask what I was doing. I told him I was looking for that little piece of brown box call chalk. He laughed and said I know where that is. Really I said. Yep, it's in that bag of turkey calls you gave me last spring. He said he'd bring it over tomorrow along with my blind, blind chair, Mr. Buddy heater and my cooler from this past deer season. I said you keep everything but the chalk. LOL
The best I can lay my hands on these days is the primos brown chalk ,
