Title: Love living in MN

Myself and I am sure our teammate Paintbrush are bracing for a monster snow storm to hit us starting soon. The weather watchers are predicting that we will get between 12" and 16" inches in one day here in the twin cities. We are battening down the hatches and getting ready. It should stick around for a few days before the temps get back above freezing.  :z-dizzy:

They are only calling for 4 to 8 inches for me! I use to like winter;snowmobiling, ice fishing and such, but that was like 30 years ago, not so much anymore!

Only got about 2" of snow overnight at my place, not the 4" to 8" they where calling for, but the next 2 nights are suppose to be below 0. Winter still hasn't let go up here!

We got good layer of snow in the first wave. Minneapolis/St Paul International airport reports a total accumulation of 7.2" at 7:00 am today. The second wave of snow will be adding to this amount and the rate of snow falling since about 10:00 am has been steady along with high winds. I know that I will need to shovel out my car just to be able to make it out into our parking lot. The St. Paul Snow Plows have been going steadily to keep the major thoroughfares open, but the side residential streets take a lower priority in their efforts. Right now the temperatures are in the low 30s, but after the storm clears we will be seeing the temps progressively drop down below zero by Tuesday night.
