can't get the pic to load but that sounds good, am definitely gonna have to pick some up when my local dealer gets em in.

Looks good did you stretch it out any farther,Also are those nickel plated

That looks really good. I may be looking into the 3.5" 5's. 2.25oz of lead is quite the load. Been shooting LBXRs since they came out, but am worried about the consistency issues people are having.

Not trying to highjack the thread but did you try the Windy Hill #7 lead,and do you think it would kill to 40 yds

The 6's are all I've tried. I'm sure there are people on here that are more knowledgeable about the ballistics of lead 7's I personally wouldn't shoot them past 30 yards.

Guy's used to rave about the Federal grand slam 7s in 12ga as 40 yard loads, not sure I would trust them?  They will run out of gas fast!

128 at 40 is a good lead pattern no doubt!

Those Federal 7s you're referring to were substantially heavier than lead along the lines of 15g/cc. If you shot one at 40 and didn't kill him you can guarantee you failed on pattern not penetration.
