Which vest do you prefer and why? Are the pot call pockets on the 200 secure enough without the elastic straps? I'm on the hunt for a new vest to replace my tidewe.

I have a 200 and I don't think the pot call pockets would work without the elastic as they are just a mesh pocket with the top opening being elastic.
I'm actually thinking of getting a 300 so I have a little more pack room to better stash a hoody or something if need to strip layers.

I have the 200 and love it. I've had no issues with pot calls falling out of the pockets. I am considering the 300 but then I can't think of a reason why. Usually after some long stents of hunting I'm trying to take stuff out of my vest to lighten it up so I don't think I'd need any extra storage. If you don't have the 200 it can't hurt to go with the 300 and have the option of extra storage though.
I used a 200 for a couple season maybe 3? Was concerned about the pot call pockets but never had an issue, I like the vest a lot but switched to a Sitka, I like things about the Sitka more and things about the RNG more.
Have never handled the 300.
The problem with those vests is they stick out so far off your back it's odd sitting next to a tree.
My son has used the 200 for 3 yrs now and he likes it... the pot call holders work fine so far!
It just doesn't have any extra room so I end up carrying his pullover or anything he sheds throughout the day!
I have used the 200 for four years now. Pot call holders work fine. Its definitely a vest for someone who is a minimalist. The only thing I think it lacks is more room to keep lunch & layers. If it had the same size backpack that is on the 300 it would be perfect for me.
